It's amazing how many little details had to be tweaked, fixed or overhauled to make the bus seem finished inside.

Nifty new leather shifter I got at Pep Boys. Now that's performance, baby. In hindsight, I probably should have gotten an automatic transmission to make driving the bus a little easier. However, the standard transmission is virtually maintenance free.

The front door. Cutting the paneling around the radius door corners and installing it so it looked finished and complete was probably the hardest part of the interior paneling. This part makes the bus feel more like an RV than a school bus.

50 amp automatic transfer switch to switch from shore power to generator and vice-versa, automatically. 50 amp 240/120 breaker box with a 20 amp and 30 amp breaker. I was warned to make sure to use stranded electrical cable and not solid copper since solid copper can't take the vibration and would break. Thanks to my local RV store for the tip.

Test fitting my GPS into the little dash shelf I made for it. I ran a GPS antenna to the roof from this spot to make sure the GPS has good signal reception. The GPS made navigating the bus around unfamiliar territory much easier.
